Could these morphs make a super pastel?
I have a friend that was looking for a bp and went to a breeder and he has one for sale he is labeling as a super pastel. My friend wasn't sure so he didn't buy it for two reasons. First was bc I have a super pastel, which wouldn't of bothered me lol second reason was bc of what world of ball pythons genetic wizard told him. The sire was a bumblebee and Dame was ruppel pastel and according to wobp a super pastel isn't possible but a pastel is. Basically my question is could a super pastel be a possible outcome? Or is wobp spot on?

Not to familiar with a Ruppel Pastel, but a Bumblebee (spider, pastel ) and another pastel should have the opportunity to make a super pastel because both parents have it. BUT I have no idea what Ruppel Pastel is or if its "compatible" with other pastels (weird?) It does look like a beautiful line of Pastel in my opinion
I used almighty google and got this...
Regular Ruppel Pastel

Did the snake look close to this?

I'll text him and see if he has pics. There is quite a few possible combinations for that pair but super pastel isn't one according to wobp. It may just be a ruppel pastel. The breeder was asking 250 and its a male and that's a lot if its just a pastel. I'm not sure the going rate for a ruppel pastel.

It is possible Bumble Bee X Pastel will yield the following (those are chances per egg)
12.5% Normal
25% Pastel
12.5% Spider
25% Bumble Bee
12.5% Super Pastel
12.5% Killer Bee
Ruppel is just a another line of Pastel which is compatible with any other lie of pastels

That is expensive for a male "pastel" for sure. If the pics arent anything near the super I would pass. What parts are you from? Theres many breeders on here that I'm sure have better quality/priced animals than what he has to offer (no offense to the breeder)

From NW PA. Yes 250 is a lot for a pastel. But if its a ruppel would that be a good price? He is labeling it as a super. I'll have to put the pics up once he sends them to me. I don't wan't say who the breeder is bc he does make beautiful balls and everyone makes mistakes and I don't want to discredit him. I bought my super from him and he is no doubt a super. I'll get pics and see what you all think and go talk to the breeder. He is a good guy and willing to admit that he made a mistake, if in fact he even made one. I'll probably have pics up sometime tomorrow. Have to wait till work and have my friend Bluetooth them to me.

If you know of a few breeders near NW PA let me know bc the one I go to is the only one I know of around here. Yet I haven't looked much either.

I like to browse the big websites because you know there credible. Along http://market.kingsnake.com/index.php?cat=32 the www.Reptilering.com is a nice site to browse, they always have random morphs. Not always what your looking for but sometimes you find something awesome for a steal of a price. Kingsnake you can search through the largest list of breeders and morphs. Thats how I found a big girl for my hypo banana from Deborah, and she turned me onto the forum! What a wonderful place the internet.

Super pastel is possible, one of the problems of WOBP listing lines of the same morph separately is it doesnt always recognize that breeding two lines does indeed give you a super. Since you put in a specific line of pastel for the male and generic pastel for the female, WOBP didnt combine them.
