    Filled Tub #3 of 5

This weekend has been quite the rollercoaster... Fri we had to put down our 12yr old lab, so of course we were all heart broken on the couch with tissues. I was randomly shopping Craigslist to numb the mind when I found an adult female lesser mojo with cage (I believe it's an AP) complete with T-stat, RHP, floor heat, three hides, and 20 frozen rats for $500. A few emails later, and my family has a slight distraction from the whole in our hearts. To follow suite with my kids naming our snakes after cartoon/movie/book characters, i introduce Elsa.

We don't need the cage, so I'll be posting it for sale later this week.

The top pic was the sellers pic posted on CL. I took the other two.

Laziness is nothing more than the habit of resting before you get tired.

Thanks still. He was truly a member of the family, and is sorely missed... The hits just keep coming too. Was admitted to the hospital for a GI bleed yesterday. Best Valentines ever!

Sorry about your last few days! I know losing a dog is so so hard.

I'm a huge fan of BELS so I love her but I'd suggest keeping the enclosure to scrub out and use for her quarantine so you aren't just sticking a bunch of new snakes from different places in the same rack off the bat.

Thank you, its been a rough go...

She's a total sweetheart too. Trying to leave her be for a good 7-10 days to let her settle in. I guess if there's a plus to being sick, it slightly stifles the desire to mess with her! Only slightly though...

I thought the same thing initially, but decided to roll the dice on this one. Its a good sized enclosure, so the only place I could put it would be the garage which is too cold/drafty, or in the same area as the rack which would defeat the purpose. The other two snakes in that rack have only been with us a couple of weeks, so I just restarted the quarantine clock for the whole group. Our other snake we've had since the first of Dec is on another floor of the house, so he's separated. I've got a tub, UTH, and T-stat set up I can slide under the bed in the spare room to quarantine our next pick up.
