Oh man, when my corn was a baby, she would literally swing in circles around her mouse, and keep going... her tail flailing. It was very amusing. As she has grown, prey has gotten bigger, she now grabs and coils one to two wraps and that's it. Not as fun anymore... but I still love her. I believe that as a baby, they are very nervous and just eager to start eating, or maybe, being children as they were, just simply excited about eating. Who knows? My corn is still excited when she sees prey, but is more mature and "professional" about it, comes with age I guess. We all have to grow up at some point.
