Well, that's unusual. Is there any possibility it could be ink from the newsprint transferring to his skin? I remember when I used to use printed newspaper my snow corns would get kind of a grayish cast to them but it wasn't in patches like that.

Nope, it lasted for quite a few sheds, and got a bit darker. He is a possible granite though. I have seen another pic of a super fire with a grey patch on its head. So I know it happens with super fires. Just don't hear about it often.

Idk I've seen a pie bald with the same stuff that a breeder was selling and he said it was newpaper ink try switching off newspaper for a few sheds

One thing about the "fair" morphs like albino and leucistic is they tend to show the slightest bit of damage with glaring clarity - something that doesn't even show up on a normal is suddenly painfully obvious. Simply rubbing a bit too vigorously, especially during a shed where scales are more vulnerable to damage, can cause that kind of discoloring until they heal up after a couple more cycles. I've seen it on some of my supers but not in such large patches. Just throwing it out there as a possibility.
