    I agree that increasing the room temps is the best way to increase the ambient temps. Can I ask what you're using as a primary heat source and is it regulated by a thermostat? You can also use radiant heat panels, ceramic heat emitters, or red heat bulbs to boost your ambient temps. I hope this helps, best wishes with the snakes, and thanks to your son for his service.
