200 gram bp on the loose...

My roommate fed my snakes while I was away late Sunday/ Early Monday morning and forgot to make sure the lid was on tight, and my bp got out. I have not had any luck finding him so far and I am really worried he is gone. I have put down tubs with water around the room in hopes of luring him out and nothing. What is the longest time you have had one loose and it was found? and have you ever had one not turn up ever?

Room is a spare bedroom with a 4' x 12' closet, a heavy metal desk, book case and a very heavy tv stand. With the current weather conditions the room runs any where from 70-80 degrees.

Water isn't going to do anything for it...........
Put a food source in the middle of the room.
Check every tight warm space you cant/wouldn't think of checking.

Check behind , and under the bookcase. My girl is only 223g, so i can picture the size of your Bp. you won't believe the small space they can get into. and how small they can make themselves look. Even if the bookcase is up against the wall , the molding around the floor might just give him enough of room to squeeze back there. Also even if their is only an inch or so of space under the case look there. Check the corners of the closet and in anything that is on the floor. You would be shocked to know where these guys can hide. Keep the room door closed and put a towel across the opening. with the food in the center of the room. Also start checking the rest of the house just in case. Good luck

man, my 1000g mystic got out last saturday and i flipped out. Took us about 30 minutes to find her but she was in the closet behind some old moving boxes curled up tight. Be very careful when you move stuff around so you don't injure it, but seriously check every tight tiny place in the whole room. Good luck!
