How do you guys take pictures of your snakes?

I was looking to take more "professional" looking pictures of my snakes. I was hoping for a black background. I have a general idea of what I want to do but, I was wondering on how y'all do it.

There was a post not long ago of someone painting a piece of glass with black paint and it giving as slight mirror effect. Was awesome.

I saved it because I think little Mon Cheri would look awesome on a black background.

I let mine take their own pictures. They suck at it.

But seriously though I wish I had a better camera besides my phone lol

I use a long piece of butcher paper, tape the bottom to the table and roll it up the wall a little bit. I either use my off camera flash or my hot shoe flash and bounce it off the ceiling. But you can easily the do the same thing with just a point and shoot. You just need a good amount of light around the snake to get the white paper to stay white and not get the blueish tint.
