Lol I hear ya. When I was a kid, our local reptile shop, the owner had his store pets which were a couple of 11' burms as well as a roughneck monitor and there was none of this pvc caging. You hacked up some 2x2 to make a skeleton and then sheeted plywood to it for walls and used heat lamps with mesh cages around them. heck my first ball python was kept in a 55 gallon tank with a screen top and a couple heat lamps. He thrived and ate like a horse. People don't realize that snakes aren't delicate china plates, they are pretty hardy.
