    Alternate suggestion to tanks and tubs if you have/at some point get the dosh for it: look into PVC enclosures like they have at Animal Plastics. Those have the easier time with retained heat/humidity like tubs, but are glass or plexiglass fronted so you can have a nice aesthetic view of your terrarium like tanks. best of both world right there. Only down size is that they can be bit on the pricey side, so you might have to save up a little bit first.
