    You'll probably get a bunch of opinions with this question, so I'll jump in with mine.
    For me, I never want to see it below 72 degrees ambient. I've had good success keeping it between 78 and 82 degrees. It will fluctuate somewhat with the outer room temp, but with belly heat at the back of the rack holding my hot spot, I haven't seen too many times when the cool side got out of parameters.
