Radiant heat panels labeled for reptiles?

So I made the switch to pvc yay! But being in Canada it's hard to find a radiant heat panel.

Do rhp have to be labeled for reptiles or can you use one from Home Depot (way cheaper) and just use a thermostat? Will this be safe the same way a rhp for reptiles is?

Snake cages are pretty humid and these heaters are not waterproof so I would say no.

You can order radiant heat panels made for reptiles from the internet. The ones from hardware stores, like bcr said, are not really safe for reptile enclosures.
