    It seems no one in the hobby is worried about it but rats and mice should be thawed in cold water or in a fridge to reduce the time bacteria has to multiply.
    I'm sure snakes aren't as susceptible as us but still something to keep in mind.
    Pulling rats out the night before feeding or the morning before you leave for work gives ample time to allow rats to thaw in a safe manner
