hey i was wondering i read a caresheet about 2 days ago after just holding reeses, and washing my hands of course,and it said to hold a ball python 2-3 times a week. if this is so i have only held reeses once this week so would it stress him to hold him today. also would taking some pics of him stress him out. thnx

i hold mine everyday... kepp the handling sessions short at first..15-20min. dont handle after feeding and make sure you allowed the 1week no handling settliing in time

yeah i have had it for almost 2 weeks on the first week,i got him last tuesday, i hels him on that saturday and then i held him day before yesterday and he ate his first fuzzy rat tuesday so i think he is all set. And about holding him everyday that is cool i might do that so he can get really used to me. thnx

i handle my girl everyday too but since i recently switched her into a new bigger tank im goin to leave her alone for a week or so.

I try to handle all three of my bp's everyday for at least 20 mins at a time. I would definitely no handle them for at least 2 days after feeding to allow for proper digestion unless you need to get them out for cleaning or other special circumstances.

man i have just held him again and this time he went down my friggin back. that was weird but funny and he seemed to enjoy. he lets me touch his nose all the time he follows my finger too. i got some pics of me holding him right now(and a very dirty room that ia m gonna clean when i am done on the comp.)but i don't know how to post a pic i put up a topic on it already so can u plz help me.thnks again u guys i don't know what i would do without this site or the internet!
