    The One That Got Away...

Do u have a BP or other snake that u wished u had kept? Do u regretting letting it go? What about a sale that u just missed out on?

anyway i was browsing the ads last night and saw a proven 0.1 high-ringer Cinny Champ. i pm'ed the guy the offer/trade that included pix. i waited and texted him awhile later.

damn, 2 people 2 late. i was the 3rd to contact him. we were still in contact when he struck a deal with the 2nd guy.

Well that pretty Cinny Champ got away from me but i'm sure that there will be others. my story might not be as dramatic or regretful as yours. Anyway which BP got away from u?
    RIP Mamba

At the Pomona expo, my son wanted a Black Pastel Orange Ghost. I thought about it for a few minutes and we walked back to get it. The people right in front of us bought it.

    Thats all I got.

Re: The One That Got Away...

Saw a pied on kingsnake forums for 199 shipped. Had to battle myself for a moment before finally texting the seller. I was ten minutes too late.
Same thing kinda happened with a white out cornsnake I saw in December. Emailed the seller but apparently he didn't see it and struck a deal with someone else. Not having any luck lately. Lol Guess I'll just have to wait until an expo or something.

Re: The One That Got Away...

About two months ago I was perusing the front page on Fauna classifieds and saw a stunning hypo Arizona mountain kingsnake. It was produced by Mike Russo and was on sale for like 225.00 shipped. Adult male with a really hypo coloration and reduced pattern who I was thinking of pairing my female normal tri colored Arizona mtn. king. Contacted him and he said he only had the ad up for 30 mins. I asked a few questions about the animal and its disposition told him I would contact him back in a few moments . Looked at the ad one more time with the picture of the snake and called back ready to book the deal and he told me it was sold. The animal listing was up for like 45 mins. before the snake was sold. I kept kicking myself for not jumping on it from the initial call. Bhb is selling a similar animal hypo Arizona mountain King snake for 550.00 not including shipping and not as nice as the Russo King.
Stay in peace and not pieces.

Re: The One That Got Away...

The second ball that I fostered. He as a very sweet normal that ate every time he was offered, never minded being held, just an all around great snake. At the time, the tank, lights, substrate and food was all being borrowed from the center I work at, and I could not afford to go out and buy everything needed all at once. He found a permanent with one of the other volunteers while I was on vacation. Sadly, while on vacation I found a brand new 40g breeder exo-terra tank on sale at a pet shop that was going out of business. Got the tank, 20 lb bag of cypress mulch, and lamps for $60. But, he'd already been given away

However, I wouldn't trade Mashadar for anything
