LED lighting question

For my setup, I want to use color changing LED light strips instead of bulbs. Likely this one : http://amzn.com/B00WRDG9CQ

I asked in another thread but never got expert confirmation, is it all blue and red light that BP's cant see, or is there a specific frequency that the night bulbs use? I want to use LED but I dont want to be unknowingly stressing the poor thing out.

Only way you will really stress them lightwise is if you run a bright light and offer no hides as well as leaving the light on 24/7. And yes I believe it the blue and reds that simulate the moonlight/darkness. I personally just use the room lights as well my beardies 1 million heat lamps and UVB tubes to give off enough light for my snakes. I intended for the red or blue light to be on 24/7, or white during the day and red/blue at night. What I worry about though is that too much visible light (for reptiles) will come through while its blue or red and screw with it and i wont realize it. I know you can do this just fine with a red/blue night bulb but not sure if its the same for LED

No idea. I don't use night lights. I just have my light on a timer on big BCI gal that goes off when my beardies lights go off. They are on from 8 am to 9pm. My BP and sunglow gal are in temporary cages atm which like I said, I just use the room lighting and beardie ambient light for them but once I get them into their AP cages, I will probably just use those RBI lights I linked and hook them all up on the same timers for 8 am to 9 pm.

They will notice any visible light to some extent. Blue light will certainly be visible as they have quite good vision in that end of the spectrum. Red light perhaps less so, which makes it the better option of the two, but it would be ideal to just set it up on a timer to turn off overnight.

They won't see the red however they might see some of the blue. I posted a study on this a while ago. I'll post the link when I find it.

Thank you! The LED strip I found has dimming control, so im guessing that as long as I keep the light on a deep and dim red/blue it should be okay

Just curious, why the need to have the red and/or blue 24/7? Is that just personal preference for the ambience of your room?

Just personal preference, the idea behind it is just that they are comfortable with that kind of light. I could put a timer on if the light will actually bother them.
