    New Ball Python Owner!

Hey guys! Ive been browsing around for a good forum to post on with a well rounded community and i have finally found it! I am a new Ball Python owner but I have owned tons of reptiles through out my life. This is actually my first snake as well. I wanted to go ahead and introduce myself to everyone. I am from Texas and I have always had an obsession with reptiles amphibians and fish. I picked up my Ball Python three days ago and introduced him to his new set up after months of research. It still has not eaten. I tried yesterday and it bit but didnt coil around the fuzzy. Any tips would be much appreciated! Here he/she is!

You should always let a new ball python acclimate for a week, which means no handling, no feeding, and no digging around his enclosure. Trying to feed him now would only scare him. After owning him for a week, you can go ahead and offer him food.

Welcome to the forum Eric. You found a great place!
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

Welcome! Like mentioned above give it some time and he will feed. Let him acclimate and get comfortable. Good luck
