I reckon I must be the luckiest sumbuck on the form. My analogs are dead on.
I have one set over 13 years old and three sets at 3 yrs. All el cheapo Zoo-Med types bought at Petsmart.
I've heard countless dissing of analog gauges here. While I don't use them anymore them per se, it's always interesting to compare them to the digital gauges in the tank and see that both types have exactly the same readings - both temperature and humidity!
I think the problems many folks are having stem from the analogs getting submerged or contaminated from chemicals during aggressive cage cleaning.
I've kept my mouth shut for a few years. Figured that I ought to be honest here and swim against the tide.
Data is Data. I appreciate hearing others findings even if, and sometimes especially if, it bucks the trend. Don't look now but here come the villagers with torches and pitch forks. Gotta Go! Thanks for sharing.
