Question I'm worried that my BP's shed is going wrong

My ball python started shedding 3 or 4 weeks ago and still hasnt finished. This is the first time that I've seen it shed and i'm not sure how long that its supposed to take but i'm getting a little worried. What should I do?

Yes, I think something is wrong. 3 or 4 weeks sounds heaps to long. Mine takes a few hours at most. Show a picture and we can see if you need more humidity or something else.

Three or four weeks of the skin peeling, or three or four weeks from the time you noticed a pink/reddish belly?

It's been about 3 weeks since I noticed that it's skin looked greyish compared to before

Yep, that's a full stuck shed.

You need humidity now. Cypress mulch for a substrate and moist moss in the hides will get you started. Is the screen to the tank covered?

Re: I'm worried that my BP's shed is going wrong

The top is mostly covered with tinfoil and I have a wet paper towel in there to try and help with the humidity. Its a bit of a struggle to keep it up because its pretty dry here right now. Is there anything else that I can do right now to help? The pet stores here are closed today.

Put the wet paper towels in the hides and mist the entire tank. It needs some time to absorb the humidity and then the skin will be able to come off.

Looks like some great advice, I had to quit using aspen bedding it just would not hold enough moisture switched to Coco Bedding and that did the trick you should look up the different types of bedding just for the education...its fun learning.
