    I don't, and I wouldn't. There's a huge risk of infection from it, and once it's done, there's no going back. That said, I do like tattoos - but I wait at least a year, usually more, to make sure I really like the design before I start working on having one done. I only have tattoos done in areas that aren't visible unless I want them to be. That can't be said about your tongue. Also, consider how you're going to talk or eat while it's healing... and the effect it'll have on your speech even after it's healed. Those that I've spoken to who have it done usually seem to have ended up with a lisp. Now, if none of those problems are a discouragement, then go for it! Hope you enjoy it!

    Honestly, I've never related split tongue surgery with snakes. Their tongues are completely different, and serve a different purpose.
