Exclamation ***************** Snake dies Suddenly !!!

Info: I have ball pythons in a rack system with heat tape and a herpstat 2 thermostat.

I went in to check out my snakes with my brother, my Spider Ball python was dead. He had no signs of any problems.

I had him in a large tub.... well he died and I also had another snake bp in a smaller tub n top that fit in the large tub that the spider bp was in.... that snake is fine.

Snake ate around 3 weeks ago and is about 1.5 years old

Any help why he died to prevent it again from happening.

This is a very common question and the answer will always be the same... the only way to find out is by getting a necropsy. Sorry, but no one here can tell you why he died.

Getting a necropsy is really the only way to know. We can only guess.

Sorry for your loss. I do agree that all we can do is speculate on the etiology of his death. Spiders do have a genetic predisposition to neurological issues. Have no clue if that has anything to do with his demise. Sorry again.
Stay in peace and not pieces.
