Corn rescue with the rankest dookies

So I have had my ball pythons for a couple years now... I rescued a one eyed corn snake about a month and a half ago... He has pooped for me like once a week pretty consistently. I'm not sure if it's normal for him to have these atomic stanky poops. Anyone have any ideas? I found out that my local vet does know a little regarding snakes so I can take him if necessary. Sorry if this seems stupid to you guys. I just don't know whether this is normal or not. My bps haven't had poops this bad.

Here's the old man himself. His name is Munch! Thanks for reading/replying.

First off he is beautiful! I don't think the poops are anything to worry about. My corns poops smell way worse than my BP's. I don't know why I have always wondered that. Good luck with your rescue!

If it really bothers you, you can place him in a tub of lukewarm water when you think he'll go. Their pretty easy to predict when they'll go.

Whenever I hear complaints about the stink, the animal is always a colubrid, and apparently, it is something to take into consideration with a big animal like a cribo. I really hadn't noticed with the kings, but they are still pretty small. (Haven't fed my new corn yet. I called the pet store to reserve some mice this past week - when I arrived they were out. grrr. Everyone will have to wait until tomorrow.)

Ahhh okay. Thanks, all, for responding. I normally dont mind dealing with poops lol I just wasnt sure if the odor being so bad was a normal thing or indicative of something like parasites.

My kings don't have uncommonly stinky poops, but they are a lot more liquid than BP poop - however, I have them on aspen, and it soaks up the fluids pretty fast. My male seems to make a point of making sure I'm watching before he'll go - as in, watching me, waiting for me to come near, then turning around and pooping against the front of the tub - so it gets cleaned out within minutes.

Re: Corn rescue with the rankest dookies

Haha that is great Caspian!! Normally I would want to keep this corn on aspen so he could burrow, but his eye socket where his eye is missing has a small space that I am worried might get aspen dust caught in there. I have him on this packing paper and it's very crinkly so he gets some tactile enrichment. But his poops dont seem very liquid... sorry if this is tmi but his poops look like little clusters of tiny poops if that makes any sense... idk :0

Mine are still pretty young, which might have an influence on their deposits - urates and solids mixed together. Like bird poop, really. They're only a year old, not sure if they get more solid as they get older. Both of mine use the aspen to pack the insides of their hides, even to blocking the entrance, so they've got a tiny little pocket in the back to coil up in.
