    My miracle

I'll try to make this as short as possible.
I kept ball pythons since ever, but I decided to start breeding 6 years ago. I got my first morph, a pastel male. He was an import and had a nasty infection. Hopefully he made it through, leaving two big scars. The next year he produced three clutches, I hold back two pastel females. Last year I put a yb male with her and she produced a pastelyb insanly beautiful, and a normal with a singular belly. Every year that pastel male produced some of the offspring with extra orange or something different. So this year I decided to put him with his daughter to see if there was something going on. That pastelyb and odd normal made me wonder.

The pairing was Pastel x Pastel.

    She laid 8 fertile eggs.

And here is my miracle. I literally almost cried when I cut the first egg and saw this...

    And this in the second...

Pieds have always been my favorite morph. I looked at those other guys pictures showing their pieds and I was like...."wow....how beautiful!"
I made the cut late at night, and I couldnt sleep after. I still open the tub and dont really believe it.

I got one normal 66% poss het pied male and all the others females.
    2 killerpieds
    1 pied
    1 superpastel 66%het
    1 pastel 66% het
    1 normal 66% het

On the sad side one hatchling was severe kinked, with an underdeveloped lower jaw, pip on its own but in the morning was already dead.

Those killerpieds are beautiful. I would love to have a snake as pretty as them!

Wow! Six years of hard work and now it's paying off. Congrats on all those hatchlings. Can't wait to see them after they all shed and are showing off their best. Kudos to you! Sorry for the 1 loss in the clutch.
Stay in peace and not pieces.

I'm so happy for you, I can't even begin to imagine how you felt. I would have needed a double dose of Nyquil to get me to sleep after that.

    Amazing!

Stories like yours make me wish my girls would hurry and grow up so I could breed, but then I want them to stay babies cause I like their baby looks. . Lol. .

Kudos for keeping open to the unexpected. I don't have the luck for something like this to happen to me, so I prolly wouldn't hAve tried dad to daughter robbing it would produce anything special.
