    Skip a feeding?

Today was feeding day for my snakes but was low on food. Usually I buy food in advance but I did not, big mistake on my part. So I went to the reptile place where I get my F/T rats from but they did have enough. I bought the rest of their small and pup rats as that is all they had but that left two snakes not being fed. The store told me that they would have more by Monday or Tuesday. Before deciding to feed who, I need to know if it is okay if my two biggest females are okay not to eat. They would normally take mediums anyway. But one of them is currently breeding. The other one, although big enough, IMO is not old enough to breed yet. I am not super concerned about her since she tends to skip meals from time to time, but the breeding female, would it be okay for her to wait till next week?

I should also mention that I have tried finding others feeders but there is no one close to me that has anything.

Skipping a week will do no harm at all even though she has been breeding .... Keep in mind that ball pythons are opportunistic feeders, in the wild even tho they may be hungry and looking for a meal, it is not always available .... There is absolutely no need to be concerned about her missing a feeding

Thank you so much. I actually had a different female that is also breeding as well not eat last night so I offered it to the breeding female I was concerned about not feeding and she also did not eat the refused rat, so I gave it to the other large female and she ate it. In the end it all worked out. I feel much better about them refusing it themselves then not offering.
