Found this photo while looking for snake racks. What brand is this? Where can I find it (I'm in Montreal QC Canada)? Approximate pricing for something similar?
It's not technically a rack. They are PVC stackable enclosures and super expensive. Cornel's World here in Calgary AB makes and sells them ranging from $300 + per cage. I am not sure anyone near you who sells them but you could always contact Greg at Cornel's World through Face Book and find out if he knows.
Thank you! It's definetly his stuff but wow at the price tag. I knew it would be expensive but that much? I'm getting my first python soon I'm just planning for the future. I can't believe there's no cheaper option to keep multiple snakes on display and looking good. I can't resign myself to use an ugly sterilite rack... I don't want my snakes to be such an eyesore in my small condo. Is acrylic bad for snakes? I know they make these nice acrylic display cubes...
Beauty is in the eue of the beholder or some thing like that
I find the utility of a tub rack to be very beautiful even if my first attemps to make one went ok-ish and is just temporary. I'll make a better only later.
Have you been to any of the reptile shops in MTL?
You are lucky to actually live near them (qc city is pretty far especially with no car) so I'm sure you could find help from any of the owners
Acrylic is not bad for them, as long as you get the right size and can keep temps and humidity at the right range.
