Re: Pinkish discoloration? Help!
Firstly, try to calm down and let us know how the animal is living. Hello by the way. What type of enclosure is he in and what are the ambient temps, hot spot temp, and the cool side temps? Humidity percentage? Most importantly how are you heating the enclosure? Some times ball pythons can curl up pretty tight in their hides and the pressure from the object on a white snake will show up as a reddening. A impending shed cycle could cause this as well. Worse case scenario is that the bp sustained a burn. That is why it's important to let us know how the heating is delivered.
Stay in peace and not pieces.

The set up is in a Showcase Cage plastic terrarium with plenty of hides, enrichment, and a large water dish. The substrate is Eco Earth Coconut Fiber. It is heated by a thermostat connected to a ceramic heat emmiter. The temperature ranges from 78F on the cool side to 85F on the hot side. No spot is more than 87F surface temperature as read by a temp gun. The humidity has been staying between 50-70% depending on impending sheds.
He does like to curl up super tight in one of his hides, so thats actually a big possibility. The area doesn't seem to bother him when I touch it or put pressure on it, so I don't know if that helps.

It looks like just a mark from being pressed against his hide or something similar. Think of the marks you can get if you lean on your thighs with your elbows. and btw... he looks pretty from what I can see. Any more pics? hehe....
(shamelessly living vicariously through you... I sooo want another one and that's the morph I have my eye on!!!)

Re: Pinkish discoloration? Help!
My pastel champagne had very similar pink blotches like this all over her body quite recently. Caused me a little concern, but turns out she was just going into shed. It was the first time I'd seen it on her despite quite a few previous sheds in my care, and I was surprised at how distinct the colour was in some places. Apparently it's a normal occurrence in light/white snakes.

Beautiful snakes! I noticed the white ones tend to "show their colors" more and there's not much to be concerned about. Anywhere they have a little extra blood rushing to will become more red (like a spot that's been compressed in a hide and got a return of blood flow). My BEL is funny that way. When it's time to eat, her whole upper body blushes red in preparation for the attack. She then looks a little mottled like that for 20-30 minutes after she's eaten before returning to normal.
