    Long Distance Travel Input

I am going to be moving cross country at the end of this month. Packing up all our stuff in a uhaul and moving from Boise, ID to the Raleigh area in NC. A ball python will be apart of this move. What is the best way to travel long distance? My fiance will be driving in her car and we do have the ability to set up the cage with the UTH plugged in and strap the tank into the front seat and just have him travel in his tank. Is this the best idea or should we do something else for transport? the trip will be 6 days total. any and all long distance stories and ideas are appreciated. We did already check the local snake laws and we are able to have the snake where we are going
    Thanks

    Re: Long Distance Travel Input

For six days travel and single animal, keeping the bp in it's tank with the uth plugged in is the way to go. Get a temp gun so you can monitor the temperature.

When I moved across the state, all of the bps and dragons went into snake bags or appropriate portable containers but six days is too long for that in your case. The bp will do great in its tank and remember not to feed it right before leaving. Welcome to the East Coast!
