Thanks A, that's so cool! The 4 pieds pipped and look pretty good tonight. The 1 other egg had two small slits as if the little guy is trying to come out. Have not seen his head yet.

Re: Piebald egg update..
It's 10:20 pm and the 5th pied egg has not pipped but did cut into the shell with his egg tooth. I see two small slits but was concerned bc I didn't see his head. It's day 57 and all the others have shown their heads. I made a decision to cut across the 2 slits to widen the breathing capability of the hatchling. And to make sure he was ok. I was able to ascertain that he is alive and is moving. Thought he might have just been too weak to pip like the others. He was the last egg laid so I felt he might need some help presenting himself. Will observe him more closely now.

Re: Piebald egg update..
Did not get much sleep due to keeping watch over egg #5 after cutting into the slits to widen the oxygen exchange ability for the hatchling. As of 4am three of the hatchlings completely emerged. The other two are still inside the egg. This is what we have so far.

Thanks el, #5 has pipped about 2 hours ago. I think he should emerge later today or tomorrow. I felt it was important to cut and it seems like it was.

Yeah, really wasn't sure bc he had put 2 slits into the egg prior. All I did was to cut across those slits to widen the hole. Can't wait to show off # 4 and 5. Haha
