    purchases

Just before Christmas, purchased a lovely corn snake from a breeder in FL. He is holding the animal until my heating equipment is delivered.

We had a good nut harvest. Paid today.

I have an RHP scheduled to show up on the 5th.
I have another order with Reptile Basics ready to place for a VE200, a therm/hygro, and two medium hides.
I already have an old 30LX12WX24H tank, but am thinking, maybe to go with ExoTerra's 36LX18X24 viv. (snake is full grown)

Have been planning these purchases for months (with this cash), but am horribly stressed out about it.

I am not used to spending money!

    awesome! congrats.

Lol spending money is fun. it feels even better when u worked hard for it (esp. If u harvested pecans. ) it's satisfying.

sounds like you're ready. will u be adding a climbing branch and foliage?

i plan on getting some of these hides when my colubrids get bigger. There's a hole on top and a built in waterbowl - http://beanfarm.com/product_info.php...oducts_id=5323

looks like a cool alternative to the basic black ones.

Yeah, I'll put in some branches and foliage. Twenty four inches is pretty tall, but for a corn, I'd like to offer some height. The enclosure will be planted eventually, but out of fun money for that now. The basic hides will do until then, and the kings should eventually grow into them.

    Yeah, paydays are fun!

I have a similar Exo-Terra. I love the front swing doors. I paid full blown retail for it a few years back when I did not even know that plastic enclosures existed.

Had I known that I could have bought a plastic enclosure for less money, I sure would have.

Regardless, the Exo-Terra is nice tank, I love the locks on the door and top as well!

    Enjoy

The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.
