    Champagne

I just picked up a male champagne, I've always loved champagnes they are so pretty. I don't have any plans to breed. Maybe some day, but right now the snakes I have are just because I love the morphs. But I like to browse the genetic wizard and see what different morphs will make. First I saw that my two, spider and champagne will produce a lethal combo. So that breeding is out even if I was going to breed. Then looking at champagne combos it seems like the champagne gene covers up everything. All the combos I looked at looked very similar. So I guess I don't really have a question, more of an observation. It's a shame, champagne is really pretty and I would have thought it would make some pretty cool combos.

lol, I enjoyed the champagne gene as well, but it does tend to cover up everything else, like the Gg/GG and Ww/WW gene in horses, it always covers their base color right up.

As it is, I own a female champagne, who's name is Neff, and she's quite a finicky eater and can be such a brat >( but I adore her anyway

I love my Champagne girl. extreme ringer Champagnes (see Dave Green or Bob Clark) look great. many peeps mistake them for Champagne Pieds.

also in some Champagnes/Mimosas u get blue highlights and shading, a color lacking in most morphs. very pretty.
    RIP Mamba

That is a beautiful snake. There seems to be such a huge range of color in champagnes. Some are mostly that yellow and others are mostly a greyish. And then varying amounts of the two.

Champagne is great with enchi and also with ghost (mimosa). It does overpower a lot of morphs but those ones work great as does pied - you can get some stunning champagne het pied ringers. Those are my breeding plans; I originally picked up my champ het ghost girls for mimosas but now I will be pairing her with my hypo enchi male when she makes breeding size for the 2016/17 season. At some point pied will get worked in too.

Both the mimosa and enchi champagne are really nice looking. And everything looks good with pied. It's one of my favorite morphs. Still a bit out of my price range though. Now I'm thinking breeding may be in my future. Ball pythons are so addictive.

Look into grey matter. Super cinny champagne. That's what I'm shooting for in the future. Easiest way for me to make a pied-like snake with what I have now

    Re: Champagne

Enchi brings out some pattern in Champagne, as does Leopard it seems. You can still make some pretty awesome stuff. My plans are to make this:

    Pastel Enchi Leopard Champagne

    Leopard Enchi Champagne:

And I have this in my collection:

    Pastel Enchi Champagne
