A little help? Snot like from nose, RI?
Usually I just browse around here and find the answers I'm looking for but because I've never had a snake with possible RI I'm a little worried.
Today I took my BP out and about 5 minuets into holding him he had clear snot like substance, not dripping just a single strand coming from his nose or mouth (I honestly couldn't really tell which one it was coming from), I wiped it off and after handling him for about 20mins nothing else came out. I've been doing a little research on the symptoms of RI and he doesn't have any of the other symptoms. NO wheezing or clicking sounds, NO bubbles, and NO raising of his head or opening his mouth. He's eating great, I've never had a problem when it comes to feeding time (I just fed him on 12/20/15, next feeding on 1/3/16). I've never had a problem with him at all, he's always acted like a normal ball python. His house temps are perfect, his house is clean (NO snot sneezing on the glass or on anything else in his home), he sheds without a problem, he just recently finished shedding. I'm not sure what to do, I've had snakes before (unfortunately I had to give them to a friend when I moved a few years back) and I've never seen this with any of the others. A little advice would be helpful! Thank you =)

It's probably the shed from his nostril lining, it usually comes out like a little "plug". When it comes off with the main shed, you'd never notice it but sometimes it comes off separately. I'm sure he'll be fine and it's good that you're being so vigilant. Keep an eye on him just to be sure but don't worry yourself too much
