Question
So firstly. I just got my BP this morning and he's right around 75 grams. He's pretty much been active alllll day. Hasn't settled down yet. Every time I've handled him he's been moving around like crazy. Is that normal? Also, it looks like his right eye is dented in a little bit. I can't really see it but it looks a little funny, but it's really hard to notice, which is why I didn't see it this morning

Since I don't know how you cage is set up, I'll make the assumption you have a hide on both sides and the heat and humidity is right.
First, your baby should be left alone for about 5-10 day to get acquainted with its new surroundings. He should settle down as soon as he feels comfortable. He also should be most active during the morning and evening hours.
Second, the dented eye. This could have happened during a bad shed, the last time he shed. If it is, all will be well after his next good shed.
Finally, congratulations on your new addition.
I hope this helps a little.

Are you in reference to the snake in this post? http://ball-pythons.n...ost2403970
If so than It looks like he still has some stuck shed on his back end. I would suggest trying to raise the humidity for the next couple of days to see if he'll get it off on his own.

Re: Question
All of that she'd actually came off. I was originally handling him to give him a soak to get that shed off. I isn't want to tug on it so I put him back but when I came home from work it was off already. His humidity is right around 60%. I did see another post about the eye on this forum and it said that it could mean he was a little dehydrated?
The snakes at the pet shop were all really active and he's been roaming around since I got him home. I did take him out again to weigh him though. I was thinking it might have been because of his tank. Can his hide be too small? I

Dehydration could do it as well, yes. Don't be surprised if it doesn't like better until his next shed though. I had a Burm. with the same type of sunken eye.
As long as he can fit under the hide without lifting it up, it's not to small. On the other hand if it is more than double his size when he is balled up, it may be to big.
Most snakes at pet shops are active do to being stressed, due to the "cage mates".

Question
They did have 16 hatchlings together when I got him. Like I said, I take him out again to weigh him and I noticed that eye and he totally calmed down when I say with him on the couch. He sat with me for almost an hour and as soon as I put him back he went under the hide and curled up. Hopefully he got some energy out. I also notice he has an amazing temperament. So easy to handle already, doesn't get aggressive or defensive at all. I know I should wait to handle him so since the gal at the pet store suggested I offer food tomorrow, I'll try to feed and if he eats I'll let him be long enough to digest for a day or two

If you are going by your Zilla stick on, its not.
Roaming is also a good sign of stress.
Dimpled eyes can also mean dehydration (low humidity).

These are very hard to do, I know I never listened and I've had only one issue, but I do advise anyone I sell to too wait about a week before handling or feeding. All but one of my snakes, when I got them, ate on the first day I had them. The one that didn't did eat he following week, after he was acquainted with its area.
