That bulb has got to go for sure! ... The animal should never be able to make physicl contact with any bulb or heat source of any kind. Do a search on UTH or Under Tank Heaters .... These are usually the best bet and also the most commonly used method of heat combined with ambient temperature of the room that the snake is being kept in ...
