Re: Monty Video Update
Cool video.
On the food front if you feel they are between sizes it's usual to double up on the smaller prey - so 2 FG mice instead of one for a little while.

Monty Video Update
I always wait until they have completely swallowed and I see the food making its way to the stomach. Even with small meals you can see the snake's muscles/body moving the food down.
Then I offer the second meal.
Never had a problem doing this with my Ball, Boa, or Carpets.

The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.
1.2 Coastal Carpet Pythons
Mack The Knife, 2013
Lizzy, 2010
Etta, 2013
1.1 Jungle Carpet Pythons
Esmarelda , 2014
Sundance, 2012
2.0 Common BI Boas, Punch, 2005; Butch, age?
0.1 Normal Ball Python, Elvira, 2001
0.1 Olive (Aussie) Python, Olivia, 2017
Please excuse the spelling in my posts. Auto-Correct is my worst enema.

great video!you have so many cool hides and the makings for a really awesome display setup. I know he’s on paper towels for a little while longer but that set up probablylooks so cool with the regular substrate. I LOVE my rack but when I see things like this it makes me want to build a display set up sooooo bad.

I tried him on 2 mice tonight. If he had a middle finger it would have been very clearly sticking up at me
