    he's got room to eat. My bp will often poke her head out of the hide, see the mouse, hit it, wrap it up, then eat it with half of her body still in the hide, then she retreats back to the hide. What are your temps on the warm side, and cool side? You may also want to consider putting some dark paper or something on 2-3 sides of that tank. It will make your bp feel a little more secure. The less threatened and more secure they are, the better they'll feed.
