i have 2 BP's in separate 18 gallon tanks including my normal girl Elphaba. she's usually active after dusk, like climbs her little tree, burrows into substrate, hang on a branch, chills in the open, etc.

anyway i think activity is ok, it's apart of their personality. but when they try to escape, it's an issue. for example, has Cake been rubbing his face/chin on his tub? look for rawness if that's what he's doing. there's been threads on here the past few weeks about active snakes trying to get out of their tubs and rubbing some scales off or partially so.
