They are a lot of snake to house, feed, and handle. Even the big tame puppy dogs are a handful at times. I took a bite from a friends 12' African Rock once too. Big snake bites are no fun. The thrill of owning a serpent that out weighed me was thrilling as a young man. But now just a year and change from 40, I operate on a different set of emotions
