    Glass tanks with screen tops are much more difficult to keep proper humidity in. General consensus seems to be 60-70% humidity, and maybe a bit higher when the snake is getting ready to shed. Do you have anything covering the screen, such as plastic wrap or something similar? Also, I know you said you had a heat pad, do you have any lights on the tank as well? If you do, lights can suck the humidity right out.
