Thanks to Chris for letting me know about this thread.

GeneX is a gene that was brought in from a CH female. Very unique looking. Immediately I bred it into my YB Pieds and hatched hets that were exact copies of mom. Have been hatching some amazing Pieds from these animals ever since. This year being the most crazy ones yet!

Yes its an actual codom gene. It is identifiable both by itself and in combos. No its not directly connected to Pieds, that just the direction I took it early and I've not separated it since.

Will be doing a full write up on it soon with lots of pics! Yes I've sold a few GeneX het Pieds over the years, most before I had any idea what it could do. I don't know where these animals are now or if they are even being used currently. This year I've sold the first GeneX Het Pieds purposefully and yes I think the project is highly valuable!
