Cute "abnormality" in pattern!

Buddy of mine has a cinny line that tends to throw ringers quite a bit, out of the 20 or so cinny offspring I have seen of his at least 5 of them had a ringer of some sort. His founding male doesn't have a ringer.

A complete guess, but I think the "ringer trait" might be a polygenetic trait like fader or whiteout and such. Just based off the seemly random nature of it. Never seen someone post data on it, we always seem to just say "it happens".

See, you say the word polygenetic, and now I have a burning desire to develop that and prove it out, lol.
