Is my bp dehydrated?
My bp is about three months old and his last shed was September 18th, but he hasn't shed since then. I can see some small spots on him where his scales are drying. Lately I've noticed that when I'm handling him he's not as active and he doesn't squeeze my hand like usual and there's a small fold on his neck, which I'm hoping he's just getting ready to shed. Also he hasn't been using the hides in his tank as often, he sits under the heat lamp or is active.
I haven't seen him use his water dish in a while and he seems to be really dry and not shedding so I've been giving him 20 minute soaks every night in Luke warm water.
Should I be worried?

More info would be helpful, can you get us a pic of the snake and the setup?
How often and what is he being fed and what's his weight?
Temps in his cage and how are you testing them?
Are your heating elements controlled on a thermostat?
Is his skin crinkly and dry looking, like maybe he tried to shed but was unsuccessful? In that case warm soaks are great, you can also add a humid hide with some moss, is this a fish tank setup/glass tank?

You may be stressing him even more with the nightly soaks. In doing this you are washing away the oils they produce to help them shed.
There is never any reason to soak a snake every night.
What is your husbandry like?

BP's don't need to use the water dish besides drinking. forcing your BP into water with nightly soaks sounds stressful. they will shed on their own as necessary. i'm concerned that your BP maybe malnourished/super stressed and hasn't been shedding for that reason. what are u feeding it and how often? otherwise, it might be a husbandry issue. what are your temps and humidity and enclosure like? All the best.
RIP Mamba
