Incubator Recommendations
Looking for advice from the veteran breeders as well as the hobby snake guys and gals. I've paired my 1.0 Mojave YB to my 0.1 Killer Bee and had successful locks. I was doing cage maintenance this evening and my daughter pointed out how strange it was that she was swollen in the mid section even though feeding day is tomorrow. Sure enough, she's plump. It's been a while since I've done this, but it looks like she's ovulating. If that's the case, I figure I'm on about a 6-8 week countdown to her laying. I was thinking about building an incubator but have scrapped that idea. I just have too much tinkering going on in other areas. So, here's the question. If I were to purchase an incubator, what would you recommend? I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for and don't want to cheap out. I figure at max, I'll have 5-6 clutches a year. Most likely just 2-4 this season if all goes well. I don't mind scaling up later if I buy a smaller unit now. So, whatcha got for me?
Thanks in advance,
Dave

I've heard a lot of good things about hot box incubators from Cserpants

Hotbox from C-Serpent, Nature Spirit Incubator would be our best bet as far as size.

You can build your own. Its very easy. I used an old freezer but the mini fridges work well too. Basically drill one hole. run thermostat probe, heat tape and a couple small fans to move the air around. Seal it up and you're done.

Nature's Spirit has been one of the best made incubators for over 10 years.
As much as I love c-serpents racks, I do not have experience with their incubators, but the nature's spirit racks are a bit cheaper and look a bit bigger to me than the c-serpents 24" model. I love my nature's spirit incubator and would definitely recommend it.
