    The Brumation Blues

Ha ha. Well, its that time of year. Being in Louisiana, that means I am running an AC unit to help keep my snake room at least 55 degrees. I started cooling on Monday of last week since we finally got some cooler weather. I am cooling my entire collection, so no snake action for the next couple of months.

What kinda reptile stuff do you all do when your collection is brumating? I have gotten started planning for next year. I have a list of a few snakes that I would like to add. And, I have some high hopes for a few projects and can't wait for March to get here..ha ha.

One of my "high hopes" is that my red milks will drop me some good eggs next year. They will only be 3 years old and this will be their first attempt at breeding....but a man can dream...ha ha.

Are you making special feeding arrangements for the tiny babies that those milks have?

Of course. I should be producing some Pyros and Knoblochi next year too, so it will be a fun bunch.

Here is my female red milk.
