    Bp and Paint

I bought a exo terra and I don't really like the back ground. so I was wondering if I could spray paint it black with accents of white and if the spray paint would be harmful to the snake....

If I were you, look for something that is low in VOC. (Volatile Organic Compounds)

High VOC will cause a high amount of fumes to be released.

I'm not sure if anyone else here can provide you with any better advice and or recommend a certain paint. You would also have to ensure that the paint dries and any fumes have had plenty of time to just leave the enclosure.

I would worry more about the paint standing up to humidity and scrubbing during cleaning. I would go with a paint meant for outdoor applications. Thompson's water seal is used routinely in enclosures. Drylok is also a great option.
