Hey everyone, been a lurker for a long time but finally signed up. I have had my BP for a year now and just decided to get more so I purchased a used rack from a breeder to get me started. It is an Animal Plastics but the older style that uses heat cord not heat tape. I was wondering if its possible to add some aluminum foil tape above the cord groove that will spread the heat over a larger area inside the tub?

Not sure if this is something that would work or would even help, but would hate it to be negative to my heating the tubs. Just thought the heat cord only sits below the tub in such a small area, that if I added the tape it might help to spread out the heat, but couldn't find anything on google about anyone doing this with heat cord.

I would really appreciate some help. Also be prepared to see me around here for a long time
