    Night Temps

I've been keeping my young coastal and jungle carpets at a constant ambient temp of about 82F. I have a thermostat regulated uth that creates a hot spot of 88-90 and I use a low wattage IR heat bulb, on a dimmer, to boost my ambient temps. I was wondering how many of you allow night time temp drops for your carpets. If I shut off the heat lamps at night the ambient temps would drop to the low-mid 70's. Any thoughts?

that would be fine. my snake room, which currently houses 24 assorted carpets, is allowed to drop to 70-72 during the winter nights. never had a problem.
