Cypress is awsome for humidity, but walks a fine line with being too moist.
Eco earth is a good all arounder. A slight mix with proper moss and some cypress makes good bedding. Using it straight up, it may clog a vent. Stuffs very fine and molds when too moist.

Most of these folks use the humid hide or container method. Seems to work out ok for them.
