    About 8 ft carpet python

    So 3 days ago I got my first carpet python for free from a complete stranger lol so I emailed his ad asking if I could buy his spare tank in a week he he can't do that as he uses it for a other snake (a bp) but then he had emailed me back asking if I can come today he will give me both cages and the 8ft carpet python for a small cage I was histatic I couldn't believe it so I went and picked him up and he is beautiful but a little sketchy when people move around lol cause him to jump and him my cheek mouth closed but other then that minor hisses when I bring him outside he loves to climb and wonder I need a good girls name and sorry for calling her a him or guy i just do it alot

    Congrats on the nice new jungle Dylan. They're a lot of fun to watch and to handle. Mine are young and small but im really looking forward to seeing them grow.

    Thanks he has a great temper just curious when he is in his cage but friendly as ever once he is out and I fed him Thursday for the first time after getting him he didn't seem interested but I had gotten a text so I left my one arm in the cage holding the rat with tongs and replyed to the text with my other when I turned back he was just holding it in his mouth lol he did it soo gentle I didn't even feel him grab it

    I missed this post since it was not in the Morelia section -

    Congrats Dylan, what an awesome Carpet! I love him!

    I hope you post more pictures.

    BTW , my 7-8 ft Coastal, breathes loud. The first time she was crawling on my shoulders I thought that she was hissing at first.
    Same goes with my 6 ft Boa.

    hello everyone

    Look I'm new to this because don't get me wrong I love all types of snakes but my lil brother gave me for Xmas a morph green carpet that what he told me well its about 7feet long I call him beast because he is always hungry my brother and his roommates called him the cerpent from hell because he ate another carpet that was in a 45 gallon breeder tank what I want to know is since I don't live in NYC and I'm leaving to Rhode island this week what type and how big of a tank should I get for my beast because I just want it to be happy
