    my new Suriname

As as promised here are a few pictures of my new Suriname I picked up on Thursday.
due to humidity issues with my boaphile tank I had to assist her shedding by soaking her
one thing I noticed was a spot on her never seen it before I took a close up shot of it
wondering what it was or it go away with future shedding

    What a gorgeous girl! Congrats!

I really feel lucky that I was able to get an amazing deal on her not to mention being a true Suriname

I think that spot will dissipate and eventually go away. I didn't see it in the pictures of her before you bought her, and if I recall, me boa had some similar white marks about a year ago.

    They are gone now.

    Nice snake,,, congrats!!!

Thanks a lot man yeah that's what I thought, there a few on her tail as well
they showed up after I had to soak her and help her with her shed
just got me a little concerned.
i swapped to Cyprus mulch today and hopefully that will help with maintaining the humidity better in the boaphile

Make sure those spots are not the same as this.

I still think your snake will eventually clear up, but keep an eye out.

    No no deft non that,
it's almost as if a few scales came off during the soaking where I had to assist in the shedding

Congrats on the Suri, those are great boas. I have seen some subtle skin deviations like that on a few snakes. Never seemed to be an issue.
