    Shedding

Jimmy is going thru shed. I noticed on Saturday that he was a little dull looking and sorta staying in his hide. His eyes were cloudy on Sunday. Monday was his regular feed day, but I skipped it because he is in shed and I didn't think he would take it. His eyes cleared up today so I am expecting him to shed in the next day or so. when should I try to feed him again? As soon as he shed fully or wait to normal feed day? Was I wrong fo rnot offering it to him ?

I don't think you were wrong. I don't feed during shed. I leave them alone and wait until my next normal feeding day right after they finish shedding. I keep all three snakes on the same schedule and having them feeding on different days because of a shed would just mess me up. Waiting a little longer won't hurt them

Some of mine will feed during shed, and some will not. Its OK either way. You can wait or feed after he sheds. He'll be fine either way.

    Re: Shedding

Personally, if it is feeding day I offer my snakes food. If they are in shed, most of my snakes will still eat. Then again I feed live so if one doesn't eat, no big deal I'll just take the prey out.

    I also agree with

I usually wait til they shed. Mine are a bit finicky so i just wait and offer next feeding day.
