    My borneos are just babies, got them this year but for short tails in general rats are fine for life, some people do rabbits but most just stick to med-large rats. Cage size you are looking at at least a four foot enclosure and possibly larger, most get 5-8 feet but get heavy, 15-30+ pounds. They are often jumpy and nippy as babies but usually settle down as they get older, good feeders and good lap snakes, very inactive, very huffy and noisy.
